Published!

A year after I wrote the first draft, many revisions, and a few months of waiting, one of my flash fiction pieces was accepted! This is my first published piece. It feels good to be out of the slush. I remember writing the first draft sitting on the dining table. My roommates and one of their friends were swarming around the living room and kitchen. I usually need a graveyard-like atmosphere to write, but with Separation, once I figured out what I was writing, it flowed easy. Of course, that was just the dirty first draft. After much revising and tinkering with, it's out in the wide web world (uh, worldwide web). Here's the link.
